About

I started taking photographs when I was around ten, not very many, and only with my mother´s camera, but I do remember thinking I was quite good at it. The first photograph I really remember taking is of a cheetah lying down with a rugby ball between its paws. The cheetah was on a farm in Namibia where we went to stay a few times, we were living in the Namibia´s capital city Windhoek at the time. It is of course now clear to be that the only special thing about this photograph is the content, which is of course pure luck, it is a bit naff and very out of focus but I was seriously proud of it at the time and sort of still am in a strange way. My mother, who is a photographer, still claims that she took it and there is no way that I will ever be able to prove it was me, but I know it was.
